Saint John School hosted their 3rd Annual Winter Invitational Basketball Tournament on Jan. 30th and 31st.  Catholic schools were represented from three dioceses. These schools competed over an action packed weekend with 14 boys and girls games.  The weekend ended in an exciting championship game between St. Mary of Middletown and St. John of Old Saybrook.  The Saint John School team secured the victory after an exciting 4th quarter filled with nail biting drama.  Coach Andrew Pearson the head coach and 6th grade teacher at St. John could not be prouder of his team.  The Eagles of Old Saybrook proudly display their 1st place trophy below.
